Together, we give hope to people in need.

Hope for Good is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social assistance organization based in Bossier City, Louisiana, dedicated to restoring hope and transforming lives. Founded in 2022 by Dorothy Baker—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, and lifelong resident of Bossier City—the organization was born from her deep desire to serve others and support individuals and families in need.

What began as a simple act of compassion has grown into a faith-driven movement that puts God’s love into action. Guided by a compassionate Vice President and Board of Directors, Hope for Good reaches across generations to uplift children, families, and individuals through programs that promote empowerment, wellness, and stability.

Our mission is to express the heart of Christ by providing:

  • Advancement and empowerment opportunities for children and adolescents

  • Wellness aid for those navigating physical or mental health challenges

  • Compassionate assistance for the elderly

  • Emergency relief and family support for those facing unexpected crises

In partnership with Mon Amie’s Business and Wellness Solutions, L3C, Hope for Good helps fulfill the shared mission to restore hope, remove barriers, and create spaces where people can thrive. Together, we connect families to educational opportunities, wellness support, and life-changing resources that foster dignity, purpose, and faith.

Hope for Good exists to serve with love, give with grace, and build stronger communities—one life at a time.
